[12:25:59] <janrinok> good afternoon Ingar
[12:35:28] <Ingar> good afternoon janrinok
[12:36:09] <Ingar> got my refund for the evil RAM of the couch PC \o/
[12:43:26] <janrinok> so they replaced the RAM or just gave you the money?
[13:06:47] <Ingar> I got the money back
[13:07:07] <Ingar> (I could choose, actually)
[13:07:37] <Ingar> but since I already have a replacement kit, no need for mor RAM
[13:12:44] <janrinok> ah, I didn't know that you had purchased the RAM. So is everything working exactly as you want it to?
[13:21:01] <Ingar> janrinok: I had a set on loan, the guy was selling it but wasn't sure I was going to keep it. in the end, it was already in the PC, it worked, and the price was a steal
[13:21:34] <Ingar> next up, fixing a piano
[13:21:39] <Ingar> (it never ends)
[13:44:03] <janrinok> you will need loads of RAM for a piano....
[13:44:18] <janrinok> What exactly is wrong with the piano?
[13:47:37] <Ingar> one key only makes sound if you hit it really hard
[13:47:59] <Ingar> electircal piano, so most likely some components need to be replaced
[13:48:09] <Ingar> *electric
[13:48:43] <Ingar> currently it feels like everything in my hosue is just breaking or dying
[13:50:13] <Ingar> yesterday I found an issue with the roller shutters
[13:50:27] <Ingar> not opening up completely
[13:51:10] <janrinok> I know that feeling. I have spent quite a bit of effort working on my own house - inside and out - over the last few months. I am now decorating each room downstairs (sitting room, dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom and an office)
[13:51:45] <janrinok> Upstairs is in much cleaner condition - it is rarely used nowadays. So doesn't require much to keep it looking good.
[13:53:03] <janrinok> But every time I finish one job I discover at least one more that needs doing! You seem to be caught in that same sequence. Just keep plodding along. Eventually it does begin to get better.

[20:47:51] <kolie> lol
[20:47:55] <kolie> someone shot charlie kirk at an event
[20:48:01] <kolie> what a headline.
[21:17:47] <Runaway> When leftists see someone better than they are, their first reaction is to assassinate that person.
[21:19:33] <Runaway> It's time to replace all the George Floyd statues with Charlie Kirk statues.

[21:42:49] <Ingar> it must be tedious having to think in left-right terms all the time
[21:43:03] <Ingar> {0,1} is a rather boring algebraic structure
[21:43:27] <Ingar> complex numbers, that's the gig
[21:45:35] <kolie> I liked charlie.
[21:45:44] <kolie> Trump should've moved right two inches.
