[02:29:49] <kolie> anyone have ipv6 issues?
[02:30:02] <kolie> fab23 is reporting no ipv6 connectivity
[02:49:00] <kolie> idk what the fuck is going on.
[02:56:21] <kolie> ok narrowed it down.

[03:17:32] <Bytram> just saw a story YouTube that scientists now think the universe may not have started in a big bang. Instead, the universe may exist inside inside a black hole. I don't have time to write up a story. :^(
[03:22:25] <kolie> well that was hella dumb.
[04:15:38] <kolie> test

[05:26:25] <soylentil51> Ipv6 is toast rn. I will fix it in the am.
[05:27:02] <soylentil51> The email server for some reason told the main server its a router for IPv6
[05:27:11] <soylentil51> And it isn't so it barfs.
[05:27:23] -!- soylentil51 has quit [Client Quit]
[05:30:23] <janrinok> that explains a few things at this end.... :)
[05:31:54] <janrinok> I will have to resort to manual methods - oh this is so 2020!
[05:32:48] <janrinok> response times here are S L O W
[05:33:53] <janrinok> but it is not affecting the site itself. For me it affects the API.
[05:34:55] <janrinok> I suppose he has gone to bed...
[08:12:44] <chromas> I don't have ipv6 but even I dropped out
[08:13:48] <janrinok> yes, there is something wrong
[09:03:36] -!- Ingar [Ingar!~ingar@51.15.nj.ri] has joined #soylent
[09:18:22] <fab23> janrinok: from 00:19 - 00:25 CEST all hosts were down, after that the IPv6 routing is broken (he knows what it is) and will fix it in his morning.
[09:31:48] <janrinok> Yes, we have been discussing it on another channel.
[09:32:57] <fab23> 👍
[12:16:52] <ted-ious> This is the most I've laughed at one of his videos. https://www.youtube.com
[12:41:43] <janrinok> Yep. it was a good one.
[14:02:41] <kolie> yea so there are two docker hosts on a /48 subnet
[14:02:47] <kolie> host 0 which has everything and host 2
[14:02:54] <kolie> for whatever reason host 2 is sending out RA
[14:03:00] <kolie> and host 0 accepted those RA
[14:03:36] <kolie> I set accept_ra to 2 but it wasnt enough to get host 0 to stop using it.
[14:04:08] <kolie> so its getting ipv6 inbound, routing outbound to host 2, and host 2 doesn't do anything with, result is a traffic blackhole on v6
[14:04:15] <kolie> gotta go phsyically to dc to resolve.
[14:10:26] <kolie> leaving now.
[14:34:21] <fab23> just stop the RA server/service on host 2 and wait, as this announces will expire (or do a RA discovery on host 1)
