[05:37:34] <bender> windows_file_sharing: -1
[05:54:41] <chromas> kolie: #fite was for TheMightyBuzzard's MrPlow bot. It had a #fite command where it would play out a battle between two users
[05:55:17] <chromas> So you could set a weapon and armor, then #fite kolie and it would then show attacks between us until one died
[05:55:34] <chromas> The armor and stuff were just cosmetic and didn't affect anything, and there was a web page showing the ranking
[06:00:16] <kolie> that sounds fun.
[06:01:52] <chromas> I've got a truenas box with an smb file share; windows will connect to it, but when I click a folder it says it can't find it. fpos
[06:02:05] <chromas> I wonder if Windows can do sshfs or something
[06:10:05] <chromas> pizza++
[06:10:05] <bender> pizza: 55
[06:10:07] <chromas> ++pizza
[06:20:57] <chromas> All the wind took out some fences, instigated battles with trees including starting a fire and smashing cars
[06:21:09] <chromas> plus I can't get a public ip. Why do these things always happen to me?
[06:21:23] <chromas> (the other damage was for other people)
[06:21:28] <kolie> I can route you a pub ip over wan
[06:21:31] <ted-ious> It's because you put pineapple on your pizza.
[06:21:51] <ted-ious> The food gods are punishing you for that.
[06:21:52] <chromas> pineapple on pizza is totally bitchin, especially when you get a little browned cheese on it
[06:22:33] <chromas> We did have to fix our fence though
[06:22:35] <ted-ious> Until you repent your pizzas will be bitchin but your network will be itchin.
[06:22:42] <chromas> ted-ious++
[06:22:46] -!- halibut has quit [Remote host closed the connection]

[06:23:36] <chromas> these are some weird ip shenanigans though
[06:23:43] * chromas gets the pistol
[06:23:54] <chromas> =yt super troopers shenanigans
[06:24:04] -!- systemd [systemd!~systemd@pid1] has joined #soylent

[06:34:43] <chromas> I wonder if Ziply/Frontier would get butthurt if I torrented on this connection
[06:37:04] <chromas> this is weird
[06:37:30] <chromas> so I set up nginx on the fiber connection and can hit it up from cable, even though the IPs don't match
[06:38:55] <chromas> I'd pull on my hair but I'm too old to go bald
[06:51:26] <chromas> ok I might be a dumbass
[06:51:58] <chromas> What the newer firewall (upgraded opnsense) is showing is the gateway IP instead of its own for some reason
[06:58:25] -!- chromas has quit [Ping timeout: 272 seconds]
[06:58:39] -!- chromas [chromas!~chromas@Soylent/Staph/Infector/chromas] has joined #soylent
[06:58:39] -!- mode/#soylent [+v chromas] by Imogen
[07:04:55] <chromas> so it turns out I am in fact retarded and was trying to connect to the isp gateway
[07:05:20] <chromas> not sure why newer opensense shows that instead of the interface's ip by default
[07:07:50] <chromas> But you know, I've learned that whenever I have a problem, all I have to do is go complain about it in front of a crowd and then I'll learn the error of my ways in the most red-face way possible
[07:11:49] <prg> you can install cygwin on windows and connect to it over sshfs, but I haven't tried it the other way around yet
[07:19:55] <chromas> So now that I figured out my misteaks and the fiber's all good, what do I do with the cable connection while I still have it? Torrent maximizer?
[07:20:39] <chromas> prg: actually I think I do connect to that Windows box by ssh, with the windows for linux thing, so I just might be able to try going the other way
[07:21:04] <chromas> I have it mounted on my end with sshfs, so I can pull files easily
