[17:15:59] <Bytram> Grrr! I've checked everywhere I can think of and I find how frequently Thunderbird checks for new emails. Any ideas?
[17:17:36] <Bytram> s/I find/I cannot find/
[17:21:29] <janrinok> Bytram, easy peasy... Edit -> Account Settings -> Server Settings It tells you about half-way down the page and you can set the value that you want.
[17:21:44] <Bytram> I *thought* there was a setting for each mailbox...
[17:22:16] <janrinok> There is, you select which particular server you want to set....
[17:22:58] <janrinok> However, some email providers will not respond if they think you are checking too frequently and there is not much you can do about that.
[17:23:16] <janrinok> Mine are usually set to 10 minutes
[17:30:06] <Bytram> Yup! I was sure there was a setting, but just could not find it. THANK YOU!
[17:33:57] <Bytram> I had one folder I wanted less frequent checks. Thanks again!!!
[21:53:38] <chromas> I thought everyone supported IDLE now
[21:56:26] <chromas> Since my ups burped the other day, Squid won't work as a proxy anymore. I can connect by putting the address/port into the browser, where it gives me the standard squid "URL could not be retrieved" error, but it won't work as a proxy
