[01:00:24] <chromas> janrinok: go looked good and I played with it for a bit, but it requires opening brace on the same line. I can't live with that
[01:45:57] <chromas> And using colons for statement separators, like it's basic

[09:13:40] <janrinok> chromas? The position of an opening brace is that important?
[09:13:57] <chromas> Forcing it on me, yes
[09:14:05] <janrinok> OK
[09:20:29] <chromas> aw I might have to ruing my measly 72d uptime
[09:20:37] <chromas> the USB ports stop working after a bit I guess
[09:21:34] <janrinok> I can't say that I knew that - in fact I haven't heard of it before.
[09:21:47] <chromas> ruin
[09:22:26] <chromas> yep, can't connect to 3d printer, NUT says the UPS is unplugged. Jesus wept.
[09:29:05] <chromas> sweet!
[09:29:33] <chromas> apparently there's a command called usbreset and though it doesn't have any sort of help file whatsoever, it fixed my hubs
[09:30:42] <janrinok> so there is!
[09:45:52] <Ingar> amazing, it even lists all the info you'd expect to get from lsusb
[09:45:58] <Ingar> (but you don't)
[10:11:51] <chromas> yes and I went to reset a hub based on lsusb output and the particular id I picked doesn't exist according to usbreset
[10:12:09] <chromas> so anyhow if you've got a device not working, that's another thing to try before rebooting :D
[10:13:03] <chromas> part of usbutils package I guess

[10:28:53] <janrinok> mornin' Runaway
[10:29:12] <Ingar> chromas: it's particulary usefull for my telescope setup, there's a whole bunch of USB shennanigans in there
[10:34:20] <chromas> usb-devices
[10:34:30] <chromas> they're always coming out with new commands
[10:35:08] <chromas> I was using mount for decades and decades before one of you guys mentioned lsblk
[10:35:26] <chromas> of course, back then, there were only a dozen or so lines in mount output. now there's over 9,000
[10:35:53] <Ingar> chromas: I know the issue, I discoverd lsblk the same way
[10:36:02] <Ingar> there's even lscpu apparently
[10:36:55] <chromas> yeah there's almost as many ls* commands as there are *ctl ones
[10:37:08] <chromas> we need an lsls tool
[10:37:15] <chromas> and ctlctl. lsctl
