[08:18:58] <aristarchus> Do we have an announcement of the janrinok selected board, yet?
[08:25:08] <janrinok> THANK YOU - audioguy has fixed the site
[08:29:00] <janrinok> THE SITE IS NOW BACK WITH VALID CERTIFICATES. Thank you for your patience.
[09:04:45] <aristarchus> Now with covert comment deletion!  Nude and imporved SN, if you will.

[12:38:45] <janrinok> audioguy spent a lot of hours travelling. He has fixed the main problem but he has, understandably, gone for a rest. He has assured me that he will address the IRC certs as soon as he can. I acknowledge the ':)' If they haven't been fixed in the next day or so please remind us again!
[13:10:04] <drussell> Indeed... That wasn't a complaint, just an observation of something I noticed upon login... :)
[13:40:51] <chromas> The real issue is..why would you ever disconnect from irc?
[13:41:49] <ted-ious> Weekly windows updates. :)
[13:43:59] <chromas> daily arch updates
[13:44:05] <chromas> hourly gentoo rebuilds

[16:31:05] <drussell> It's not intentional... :) Once or twice a day, the connection just drops momentarily (I think it's possibly somehow an IPv6 thing) saying:
[16:31:26] <drussell> Disconnected (No such device or address)
[16:32:31] <drussell> in Hexchat... Then it re-connects 10 seconds later. It's really rather annoying. I'm trying it now with it forced to use IPv4 address by number to see if it helps, as a little experiment.
[16:35:36] <drussell> It could also be a wi-fi hiccup, right now this is logged in on the laptop that I usually leave connected to the livingroom TV, so it could be some random wi-fi loss, but I don't ever seem to see it doing the little reconnect dance, I think it just loses the IPv6 address on the connection momentarily. We'll see, I guess... :)

[20:01:37] <chromas> does sound like an ipv6 thing because I had that issue after enabling ipv6 here
[20:01:45] <chromas> doesn't seem to be happening lately though
[20:02:36] <chromas> when I first turned it on it would get stuck on ipv6 connections, but ipv4 stuff would still work
[20:02:59] <chromas> dns would return 6 addresses though so programs would try to use them and get stuck
[23:32:34] <ted-ious> Does the internet actually even work with ipv6 only?
[23:32:53] <ted-ious> I thought ipv6 was still going thru ipv4 gateways and such.

[23:47:43] <aristarchus> If the cert issue is fixed, why is SN not any better?   Ghosting comments?   Seriously?
