[09:45:12] <janrinok> chromas - still having connnection problems?
[15:21:35] chromas2 is now known as chromas
[15:21:57] <chromas> always
[15:23:25] <Runaway> Chromas probably needs to up the voltage and amperage to his router - plug it into 220 volt, and see what happens.
[15:24:48] <chromas> hm, good idea
[15:31:35] <janrinok> you used to have a very good connection - what changed?
[15:53:07] * Runaway amuses himself tapping on duck eggs, and listening to them peep
[15:53:55] <Runaway> Four little fuzzies bouncing around, eating all the starter feed I can throw at them, and two more starting to peck their way out.
[15:55:26] <requerdanos> raising your own small-form poultry?
[15:56:12] <Runaway> Yeah. Kids abandoned 5 ducks here - predators have taken all of them. But, I have saved a dozen eggs to the incubator.
[15:56:57] <Runaway> I'm hoping that ducks I raise myself will return to the safety of their pen every night, rather than sleep here, there, and everywhere.
[16:04:00] <janrinok> what are the natural predators where you are?
[18:31:44] <Runaway> 'possum, hawks and falcons, owls are the worst, maybe fox or bobcat, not to mention coyote. Of those, I mentioned owls are the worst, 'possum are probably second - we don't have an awful lot of the others.
[18:32:26] <Runaway> Of course, it only takes one to carry a duck or a chicken away.
