[11:43:22] <Bytram> Better get going... good luck!
[11:43:46] <TheMightyBuzzard> most anything you plant here gets 50' tall and a foot across in ten years or so.
[11:44:10] <TheMightyBuzzard> and them ain't the big trees
[11:44:37] <Bytram> you prolly get more rain and sun than we do up here in the northeast
[11:45:08] <TheMightyBuzzard> just a tad. which is why we're chainsawing at 7am instead of 9am.
[11:46:44] * Bytram got some bluetooth headphones for his TV/monitor. Balky to make initial connection, but seems to work pretty well, all in all.
[11:46:47] <TheMightyBuzzard> by ten nobody in their right mind is outside if they can help it.

[14:04:47] <carny> this weekend is almost over
[14:06:22] <AzumaHazuki> yeah....back to work tomorrow. i needed the time off
[14:29:48] <Bytram> AzumaHazuki: hope you get a good break and change of mind. It's good to relax and sometimes to do nothing at all.
[14:31:32] <AzumaHazuki> well...not doing nothing, just not working
[14:33:22] <Bytram> still, a change of mind/focus
[14:33:40] <Bytram> and maybe at a slower pace, too
[15:08:38] <Bytram> I've got a conceptually simple problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have a set of 30 data atm. I'd like to generate a plot of value vs time. X-Axis: date/time stamp that I can coerce into any format desired. (Currently CCYYmmddHHMMSS). For each X value, I have a monotonically increasing Y value. (Currently 0<= Y <= 1e6). I have a copy of MS Office 97 as well as GNUplot. Sees like it *should* be easy/simple to do, but I've yet
[15:08:39] <Bytram> to succeed. Any suggestions/pointers would be appreciated.
[15:13:36] <Bytram> For example, I'd put the data into .csv format, import (if that's the term) the data into an empty spreadsheet, pick a graph type, and tell it to do the graph. More data is coming in, so I'd like to be able to handle a new set of data conveniently.
[15:22:04] <Bytram> NVM, found https://www.excel-easy.com and with a little creativity and understanding that when Excel says "date" they actually mean date/time, was able to get it to work. :)
