[23:43:08] <Bytram> anyway... /me needs to break to make some din din... back soon
[23:43:06] <Bytram> I only saw those films when the originals were on tv

[23:35:20] <BadCoderFinger> Heh, yeah, it can soak up time.
[23:35:10] <Bytram> =)
[23:35:10] <Bytram> then I got internet.
[23:35:01] <Bytram> was. Would read a book or two a week.
[23:31:25] <BadCoderFinger> Are you a bookworm as well?
[23:30:01] <mrpg> 7 30pm
[23:29:56] <mrpg> ñ
[23:29:55] <mrpg> l
[23:29:45] <BadCoderFinger> Heh, definitely. I still accumulate books like crazy, but there are worse vices.
[23:27:36] <Bytram> one of the gifts of getting older is the sense of perspective I've gained... I try to appreciate more the things I have rather than have more things to appreciate!
[23:26:38] <Bytram> true that!
[23:25:44] <BadCoderFinger> There are worse hobbies, heh.
[23:25:27] <Bytram> as I get older my list of hobies increased in length, as my ability and time available to persue them has been reduced in like mesure. ;)
[23:24:26] <Bytram> lol
[23:24:17] <BadCoderFinger> As I've gotten older, my list of hobbies has shrunk quite a bit. Number one is beer, heh.
[23:24:09] <Bytram> nod nod
[23:23:37] <BadCoderFinger> Hanging in there. Worked like crazy last week. This week is a bit more sane, so more time for beer.
[23:22:42] <Bytram> you?
[23:22:40] <Bytram> so, pretty good!
[23:22:33] <Bytram> sleepy! Worked 6-days straight, left work at 9:15 pm, slept in a bit and tried to take a nap, but too wound up about the SpaceX launch to really fall asleep.
[23:21:29] <BadCoderFinger> Hey Bytram! How are you?
[23:20:17] <BadCoderFinger> Hi guys
[23:19:52] <Deucalion> As to MORE snow..... yuk..... don't think I've seen any this winter other than just one stupidly heavy dump that snarled up the roads then rapidly melted away overnight. ~shrug~

[00:46:29] * Deucalion rant off
[00:46:21] <Deucalion> I mean... it's preety obvious when the toner runs out on a b&w printer... there's fuck all on the page...
[00:45:39] * Deucalion takes great pleasure in going into engineer "secret" menus and disabling all those checks.... now print yer bastard... see... oh yes you can - isn't that a miracle.
[00:44:36] <TheMightyBuzzard> just hax0r your printer driver and make it ignore toner levels

[00:43:25] <Deucalion> ow me some $$$$"... gets right on my tits
[00:43:25] <Deucalion> wish I'd kept my very first little dot matrix - would probably still be running fine and cost nothing to run. They're not all that cheap to buy these days though :( I just get fucked off with this manufacturer imposed consumable life span thing - it's clearly not out of toner as it prints just fine. I have to deal with this shit at work too.... "newp, not printing cos um... well I'm pretending that my fuser is completely worn out... now sh
[00:40:31] <TheMightyBuzzard> s'what you get for using them newfangled things. dot matrix is good enough for anything.
[00:39:24] * Deucalion sends files to Win7 machine for printing.. now that's fucked up and assbackward
[00:39:24] * Deucalion goes nuts at linux printing experience. Little laser been working fine for eons from this lappy. Printer is complaining of out of toner, but still self test prints fine and prints fine from a Win7 machine. This fucker.. sends job then just gives "Printer - has no toner left" and doesn't actually print it. No idea if that is a CUPS thing to blindly trust what the printer tells it or something in the print stack atop of it. ~grr~ /me
