[14:27:33] <TheMightyBuzzard> mornin, janrinok
[14:34:23] <janrinok> afternoon tmb
[14:34:53] <janrinok> sorry for the delay - I'm having to play nurse to my SO, she had surgery on Friday and is recovering
[14:35:59] <janrinok> TheMightyBuzzard: A question that you might ber able to answer please? What is the acceptable delay between submissions, and is it enforced using your API?
[14:42:21] <TheMightyBuzzard> janrinok, sorry bout that. went to get coffee n got distracted.
[14:42:34] <janrinok> np - coffee is important!
[14:43:38] <TheMightyBuzzard> couldn't tell you on live but i "think" the api is set with a thirty second delay between getting a reskey and actually being able to sub.
[14:44:44] <TheMightyBuzzard> i'd have to pull up a mysql prompt and check in the db to be certain and that'd take a while since i forgot where it's stored.
[14:45:41] <TheMightyBuzzard> api docs say 20 seconds on subs right now so i'm going to go with that as my answer
[14:46:38] <janrinok> the reskey bit is about 20 seconds, but I can only get it to transfer 1 submission, and the subsequent ones seem to be ignored. If I wait (I've only tried 15 minutes + so far) I can then send a second sub. As I'm trying to automate this in software, I could do with knowing the actualy delay
[14:46:53] <TheMightyBuzzard> yeah, one reskey = one submission
[14:47:16] <TheMightyBuzzard> so get a new reskey and you can sub again.
[14:47:21] <janrinok> yes, I get a new reskey each time, about 1 per minute, but it still doesn't seem to accept subsequent subs
[14:47:27] <TheMightyBuzzard> hrm...
[14:47:54] <janrinok> I suspect that there is an anti-flood delay built in to prevent someone crashing the system
[14:48:22] <TheMightyBuzzard> i didn't build another delay in. it must be a reskey setting that I overlooked.
[14:49:33] * TheMightyBuzzard ponders
[14:50:04] <TheMightyBuzzard> you're testing on dev right now, yes?
[14:50:10] <janrinok> yep
[14:51:01] <TheMightyBuzzard> aright, hit me up about it tomorrow when i'm not all weekendy and i'll dig back into it and figure out the wtfs of it.
[14:51:18] <janrinok> yep, no problem. Having a good holiday weekend?
