[02:34:40] <Bytram> Correction: "<cmn32480> Find everybody with Seclevel 100 and you have all the editors"
[02:35:59] <Bytram> should be: "<cmn32480> Find everybody with Seclevel >=100
[02:44:18] <Bytram> Also, could just look at the list of authors for ideas: ( https://soylentnews.org )
[02:44:19] <systemd> ^ 03SoylentNews: Authors
[02:46:53] <Bytram> Although, I admit there are several names listed who left LONG ago.
[02:52:14] <chromas> Yeah, like NCommander ;)
[08:54:05] -!- AzumaHazuki has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
[10:55:28] <janrinok> For kolie/replicator's name to show up on stories rehash has to be restarted after adding his name to the list of authors.

[14:42:17] <chromas> that's pretty silly, needing to reboot for a name to appear.
[14:42:30] <chromas> like windows-level silliness
[14:43:51] <janrinok> we are talking about Rehash.....
[14:47:04] <janrinok> It could have been configured to accept plug-ins too, but that wasn't a big thing at the time it was written. I often wish it simply had a verify account option directly at account creation time. Simply accepting a boolean value from a remote routine would have made things much simpler.
[14:56:14] <chromas> plugins were pretty big back then. any media-related tools, web browsers, even old mac-os had plugins ;)
[14:57:28] <janrinok> Well, it hasn't got any
[14:58:01] <chromas> but they were kind enough to poorly reinvent crond
