[01:19:15] <Bytram> hey guys! Sorry I've not done much today -- been trying to deal with an upset stomach all day. Just had dinner and am hoping early-to-bed and a good night's sleep will do it. I did make a story sub, so that should help. Hate to leave you hanging like this.
[01:34:14] <Bytram> Got 3 stories pushed out and that's gonna have to do it for tonight. Thanks *so* *much* for stuffing the queue for today, can't tell you how much that helped with my peace of mind!
[01:34:31] <Bytram> have a grrrreat night everybody

[05:56:45] <chromas> But the betrayal was supposed to happen
[05:57:01] <chromas> so is Trump gonna pop back into the white house after three days?
[05:57:07] <chromas> when is his second cumming?
[06:04:17] <RunawayXXXX> That was Eric. You see how that turned out.

[13:23:18] <requerdanos> Why am I not getting 503 errors? I am feeling left out
[13:26:48] * Bytram has so far only seen 503s when updating an already-accepted story -- whether I am simply 2nding a story or intentionally editing a story to make an update -- even a change as simple as trying to change the case of a single letter in a story's title.
[13:27:34] <requerdanos> seems mrp-g hit one submitting a story yesterday, though?
[13:28:10] <Bytram> insufficient information
[13:28:43] <requerdanos> fair enough.
[13:30:02] <Bytram> I see a glimmer of a pattern forming, but nowhere enough to be able to posit a potential source / cause.
[13:30:51] <Bytram> Let's keep documenting here when we encounter them and hopefully a pattern will eventually appear.
[13:31:10] <Bytram> break time
[13:52:53] <Fnord666> Bytram That is the same time I run into 503 errors. It happens when editing an already accepted story, and not always.
[13:58:38] <Bytram> A quote I saw back in the 80s: "Strive to understand your problem, don't try to solve it; a fully-stated problem embodies its solution." (Name was something like "Ross" IIRC who was a CEO(?) of SofTech)
[14:20:39] <Fnord666> Takyon - In your most recent sub, what does "Cezanne here
[14:20:39] <Fnord666> " mean?
[14:28:47] <Fnord666> I'm not sure what you wanted to include at that point
[14:36:33] <requerdanos> bytram, a word in pm at your leisure?
[14:37:37] <Bytram> k; give me a few minutes ??
[14:38:07] <requerdanos> but of course. puzhalista.
[14:38:32] <janrinok> spacibo
[14:38:52] <janrinok> spasibo - my transliteration was crap the first time.
[14:39:10] <requerdanos> my transliterations are pretty much guaranteed to be barely recognizable garbage
[14:39:47] <janrinok> lived in Moscow for 3 years after completing a 18 month Russian course
[14:40:06] <janrinok> just as Putin came to power
[14:42:16] <requerdanos> such a time of hope and promise
