[04:33:45] <Bytram> That's it for me for today. Time to hit the hay.
[04:33:54] <Fnord666> Good night Bytram
[04:34:07] <Bytram> Oh,THERE you are!
[04:34:10] <Fnord666> Pleasant dreams
[04:34:16] <Fnord666> I am indeed here
[04:34:40] <Bytram> I was able to push out enough stories to get us past sunrise on the US East coast.
[04:35:22] <Fnord666> Yup. I saw the softballs but I wasn't sure if they were there for anyone to post
[04:35:54] <Fnord666> I also saw a post from a new editor, yes?
[04:36:02] <Bytram> What, you mean the stories I submitted? First come, first served!
[04:36:06] <Bytram> Yes indeedy!
[04:36:54] <Fnord666> Yeppers, the stories under your name.
[04:37:04] <Fnord666> BTW the DOI on the Red Sea story is active now
[04:37:23] <Fnord666> So I'll drop the note
[04:38:27] <Bytram> IIRC, there is a ... hiccup with people's first appearing on the Author's page. ISTR, that there info gets added to the author's page after their second story. Not absolutely certain, mind you, but let's just say reasonably confident.
[04:38:31] <Bytram> obliged!
[04:38:42] <Fnord666> np
[04:39:15] <Fnord666> I'll probably post stories up through dinnertime or so EST
[04:39:20] <Fnord666> then call it a night
[04:39:25] <Bytram> nod nod.
[04:40:16] <Fnord666> I think we need to perhaps come up with a strategy at a future time (shortly though) for following the coronovirus stories
[04:40:16] <Bytram> I am weorking the late shift tomorrow. Don't leave work until ~9:30 pm and am due back at work at 9:00 am the next day.
[04:40:24] <Fnord666> uggh
[04:40:24] <Bytram> agreed
[04:40:28] <Bytram> yep
[04:41:22] <Fnord666> Maybe I'll catch you here in the morning. I was thinking maybe a compilation sort of story every day or evey few days.
[04:41:38] <Bytram> I think, though, that things are starting to coalesce. The hysteria is somewhat lessened as more information is known and gets propagated. Ignorance is bliss ^W *fear*!
[04:41:39] <Fnord666> give it some thought and we can chat tomorrow
[04:41:50] <Fnord666> FUD right?
[04:41:55] <Fnord666> or the day after
[04:42:28] <Fnord666> "Local Water Availability is Permanently Reduced After Planting Forests"
[04:43:15] <Fnord666> Adding something that consumes water reduces local availability to other things in that locality. Who'da thunk it?
[04:43:28] <Bytram> no, not really FUD. There's actual new material coming out rather quickly, but some of the underlying stuff -- the name of the virus, where it started, limited treatment options, transmission methodologies -- as these get known, there will be much less to talk about. I think.
[04:44:03] <Fnord666> eh, after that they conversation will turn to who is spreading what disinformation about it, etc.
[04:44:32] <Bytram> It actually surprised me. I thought the extra water being evaporated from the trees would sufficiently increase humidity that it might even increase rainfall.
[04:44:46] <Fnord666> At any rate, it appeared as if you were off to slumber land.
[04:45:14] <Bytram> Sadly, I fear you are correct on the fearmongering.
[04:45:20] <Bytram> yes, I was/am.
[04:45:41] <Bytram> Have a great night!!! (Unless you made other plans!)
[04:45:48] <Fnord666> lol.
[04:46:00] <Fnord666> You too and I'll talk to you later
