[13:03:07] <janrinok> I'm 82Kg but tending towards a bit of a paunch now, so my doctor is keen on me not putting on any weight. She is mid 30's, 5 children, still keeps a good figure, and thinks that we should all be able to do that - minus the kids of course

[14:13:00] <janrinok> Win puts drives where it does (C:/ D:/ etc), Linux lets you put them where you want. If you install Linux it will use standard defaults, but essentially you can change them
[14:14:04] <janrinok> the 1 problem is that mount does not work for NTFS read/write. It can read OK, but you have to use ntfs-3g to mount NTFS drives in r/w
[14:14:42] <takyon> do we want to run a sourceforge story. the dev post I linked was from the 20th, reg from 19th.
[14:14:45] <janrinok> That's because NTFS is proprietary and they will not confirm the details so that others can write drivers
