[20:34:24] <paulej72> TheMightyBuzzard, Bytram: I have a fix up on dev that collapses some of the extra space when buttons are not present
[20:35:43] <paulej72> Also I was trying to keep multiple controls from having to be unset. Say a thread is collapsed during rendering, the comment itself then should not be as well.
[20:36:49] <paulej72> This lead me to a bug where lvl was different between legacy and new comment trees. I fixed this, but now I am not sure if we are getting the correct behavior for how things are supposed to look.
[20:37:53] <paulej72> mostly wrt TLC and whether they are fully visible or collapsed. It looks like if all of the childeren are not visible then the tree is set to hidden upon rendering.
[20:38:43] <paulej72> That would mean no kids with breakthrough high enough. This would give a TLC that is a collapsed tree.
[20:39:40] <paulej72> What I would like to do is not set child trees in the hidden state if a parent is set. this would allow one click opening of the comment tree
[20:40:23] <paulej72> I believe that is is not possible as we build the state of the hidden tree backwards through recusion
