[05:44:50] <prospectacle> What is the general feeling if someone made a wiki page of an article that was posted on the site? Then people could post background, extra links, updated info, etc? Or is that not in the spirit?

[05:56:48] <drcoolbp> prospectacle: the way I originally saw it is that if an article is posted, commenters expand on it, someone decides to integrate/update/research an article (conslidates to wiki) then if it evovled farther it could be submitted back to the main under a new topic

[06:00:56] <prospectacle> IMHO might be a bottleneck. What if wiki started out as just article, then one person chosen to submit proper rewrite after wiki magic adds research/links/comments

[06:02:38] <drcoolbp> for articles that are not time-sensitive that makes sense, but again, integrating commenting into the submission que would be similar to what you are saying (not the same, but same effect)

[06:04:03] <xlefay> I think one thing we do enjoy as a community is thorough, well written and based articles.

[06:06:06] <prospectacle> Well if you it's easy to achieve the same thing in the submission queue that would be good also. Seems like wiki has certain strengths that might be suited for this purpose. Since there's a wiki anyway. And less work probably for admins.
