[17:50:11] <FatPhil> This guy clearly loves the highly erudite work of the IP-shifting AC members of the "community": https://soylentnews.org
[17:52:41] <janrinok> yep, looks like he is the one to get them out of the hidden karma bracket
[18:03:31] <FatPhil> <--- triggered at the pronoun that was assumed ;-)
[18:11:50] <Bytram> janrinok: !!
[18:11:58] <Bytram> FatPhil: !
[18:16:48] <janrinok> Bytram, !!
[18:17:27] <Bytram> sorry for the delayed response
[18:17:45] <janrinok> np - I was just doing my usual chores at this time of the evening
[18:18:05] <Bytram> for all the talk about staying home and watching the SpacX launch online, they've not been making it terribly easy to find out how to watch it!
[18:18:31] <Bytram> Oh that's right, I should be getting some breakfast about now =)
[18:18:37] <janrinok> lol
[18:20:06] <janrinok> and I think that FP is an hour or two ahead of me
[18:22:10] <Bytram> sounds about right
[18:22:30] <Bytram> how are you doing today? getting a bit of a routine going?
[18:23:05] <Bytram> or, at least, shaking out first attempts' travails
[18:24:56] <janrinok> yes, some days are busier than others. I prepare food for several days at a time but eventually one has to start prepping again - and today and tomorrow are 2 of those days
[18:25:57] <Bytram> yeah, that's tough
[18:26:47] <Bytram> I try to do bulk meal preparation, but am not as effective at actually doing it as I'd like
[18:28:13] <janrinok> well I have to make the meals look appetizing rather than just brown puree. And having the same meal over and over for 3 days is not much fun, so I have to try to put variety into the food prep too
[18:29:00] <Bytram> I'm a little more tolerant of repetition... up to a point
[18:29:54] <Bytram> I've got some quick-n-easy stand-bys that's I'll often use, but there comes a point where I need to change things up, so I head ya!
[18:30:09] <Bytram> Some people live to eat, I eat to live...
[18:30:12] <janrinok> I'm learning as I go. Did you know that water can be too thin for some people to drink? I have to use a thickening agent to make it more the consistency of milk shake while still being water!
[18:30:44] <Bytram> that said, I sure wouldn't say no to a well-prepared filet mignon!
[18:31:29] <janrinok> S would be happy if I pureed it - for example we had a tagine tonight, but S's was all pureed but she still enjoyed it
[18:31:38] <Bytram> I experienced it as an infant; think I mentioned it to you a while back... my very first memory was choing on a bottle of water when mu reflexes where accusomted to formula
[18:32:02] <Bytram> you are an *amazing* couple!
[18:32:03] <janrinok> yep, that sounds like the same problem
[18:32:44] <Bytram> especially frustrating 'cause I was hungry at the time and this was NOT helping!
[18:32:54] <Bytram> the trauma of childhood, right?
[18:33:22] <Bytram> brb, think I'll make up a quick bowl of pasta
[18:33:41] <janrinok> The home help brought us a cake to celebrate S returning from hospital, then realised that she couldn't eat it. I solved the problem by putting a slice of cake in the blender with a peach. Voila! a nice fruity puree. S was happy and the home help delighted that S could enjoy the gift
[18:41:21] <Bytram> Awwww!!
[18:41:31] <Bytram> That's SO sweet!
[18:41:41] <Bytram> (bad pun intended)!
[18:41:49] <Bytram> {{{{{ S }}}}
[18:42:24] <janrinok> I solve those sort of problems several times a day!
[18:42:50] <Bytram> {{{{ janrinok }}}}
[18:43:19] <Bytram> sounds like you found a ... peachy solution to that problem!
[18:43:21] <janrinok> steady - you'll be getting emotional next ;)
[18:44:34] <Bytram> whaddaya mean, next?
[18:46:50] <janrinok> OK, time for me to go and finish my chores. Hey, I processed a story today!
[18:47:00] <Bytram> woo hoo!
[18:47:04] <Bytram> TYVM!
[18:47:12] <Bytram> have a great day!
[18:47:19] <janrinok> and you
[18:47:27] <Bytram> mare see!
[18:47:34] <janrinok> a bien tot
[19:06:57] <FatPhil> Bytram: the "them" is the pronoun that surprised/shocked me...
[19:07:54] <FatPhil> janrinok *presumed* the recipient of the up moderation was a different basement dweller from the one performing the moderation ;-)
