[20:58:57] <janrinok> Yes, some are good, others make you wonder why you bothered. I spend more time editing some than the members spend reading them. And I can't pick a good story in advance very often.

[21:03:04] <xlefay> e.g. 'Theo slams OpenSSL Team', 47 comments. New US Navy Railgun 79 (although, there's a fair bit of science involved there)
[21:04:31] <janrinok> NCommander: are you happy with the traffic figures - I don't know what we should be expecting? I think the site has settled now and is running much more smoothly, but I/we need to improve the content on the front page.

[21:05:20] <xlefay> It's funny, after SN launched content on ./ seemed to go faster, and sometimes even more shittier too

[21:06:01] <xlefay> The difficult part is, keeping that quality up, which is what you guys are doing admirably
[21:06:10] <janrinok> They saw the competition and they doubled their story output, regardless of story quality. But they made sure that there was very little original material that we could find.
