[05:58:21] <chromas> Weird that I can plug a cable into the laptop and wifi file transfers will speed up, but if I unplug it then all the connections are dropped instead of moving back to wifis

[16:47:43] <AlwaysNever> "The Free World Must Prevail" ( https://situational-awareness.ai )
[16:47:51] <AlwaysNever> what free world?
[16:50:08] <AlwaysNever> I sense an intense We-vs-Them discourse, part of the general China-scare going on in the propaganda machines of the "think tanks"
[16:52:26] <AlwaysNever> "we" are scared that "them" this time around are not nearing internal collapse as the USSR did in the past
[16:55:09] <AlwaysNever> "we" are scared that printing dollars will end being a lucrative business the day commodities start trading in other currencies
[17:02:32] <requerdanos> By "free world" I suppose that means those countries free enough not to be behind government censorship/propaganda firewalls?
[17:03:45] <requerdanos> In the US for example, as I understand it, the NSA only intercepts all communication for espionage purposes, without interfering with it, making us part of the "free" world, whereas in China, for example, the traffic is blocked in cases, in addition to the espionage, so they are part of the "not free" world.
[17:05:01] -!- drussell has quit [Ping timeout: 252 seconds]
[17:08:53] <AlwaysNever> I don't know in USA, but in the EU we have a nice propaganda firewall were non-conforming Russian media is forbidden
[17:09:25] <AlwaysNever> So we only hear one side of the story

[17:09:50] <requerdanos> My definition may be a little inaccurate, putting some "mostly free" places in the not free category and vice versa.
[17:11:41] <AlwaysNever> Also, there are many websites with are blocked and not accessible from EU countries, exactly as it happens in China with other websites
[17:11:53] <AlwaysNever> the "free world" must be other thing, then
[17:16:07] <AlwaysNever> Is this "free world"? https://i.ibb.co
[17:17:08] <AlwaysNever> As "X" properly says, "Something went wrong. Try reloading", very apt definition

[22:43:53] <chromas> Protip: if you install a cr-touch on the sprite extruder onto a creatlity printer, the mount point that they made for their own hardware seems to be misaligned, and needs a couple spacer washers in order to not jam the nozzle into the bed
[22:45:57] <chromas> (their own short cable routing through the extruder also drops the voltage so it doesn't work)
