[16:24:37] <Bytram_phone> I'm dealing with my *existing*, 5+ year old install. I was trying to retrieve a file from a bit-for-bit backup copy of my harddisk. Installed dupe in external USB enclosure, plugged it in, and windows did not recognize that a drive was added.
[16:29:35] <Bytram_phone> Shutdown the computer. Rebooted. 1) still did not recognize external drive. 2) Came up complaining it was an invalid install. 3) Wants me to enter the Windows product(?) key.
