[06:46:36] <janrinok> chromas, I've just noticed that some of the citations that are now being used for submissions/stories have a '[$]' in them - is it a place holder and, if so, for what. And if it isn't, what purpose does it have? I'll have a look at changing Arthur if I ever get the time....
[06:47:23] <chromas> The $ means restricted access—they want moneys for the article
[06:47:43] <chromas> it's not always accurate because I've seen at least one with the "restricted" flag that was open
[06:47:52] <chromas> and many restricted ones not flagged as such
[06:49:22] <chromas> It could look elsewhere but at the moment it just looks in the meta tags for "dc.accessrights", "dc.relation", "citation_access", "citation_fulltext_world_readable"
[06:50:25] <chromas> with values of "open", "open-access", "all" (or a property of "citation_fulltext_world_readable") for open and "restricted" for uh...restricted :)
[06:53:43] <janrinok> OK, that seems reasonable - but I haven't seen that explained to the community - did I miss it?
[06:55:05] <chromas> No; I've just been doing it for awhile and eventually added it to the bot. I haven't really seen anyone mention it though.
[06:55:28] <chromas> (the bot will also add "[open]" if it detects an open-access flag)
[06:57:04] <janrinok> Arthur strips out all of the cruft before analysis and has other uses than just preparing subs, so I will be leaving that for the editors to play with then... Thanks for the update.
[06:58:48] <janrinok> I might include it in the SNAPI data but I'm not sure if anyone other than myself uses that.

[14:49:54] <systemd> The major types of gynandromorphs, bilateral, polar and oblique are computationally modeled. Many other possible gynandromorph combinations are computationally - https://en.wikipedia.org
[14:50:27] <janrinok> I feel enlightened....
[14:53:34] <Bytram> janrinok: !!
[14:53:52] * Bytram was just looking something up to add as a footnote to a story
[14:54:27] <janrinok> Bytram, !!
[14:54:41] <Bytram> how's things?
[14:55:24] <janrinok> v tired. S had a consultation this am and the leg brace remains on for another month at least before they will undertake surgery.
[14:55:34] * Bytram disassebled 3 ancient PCs this AM in preparation for recycling.
[14:55:40] <Bytram> ouch
[14:55:51] <Bytram> give her a smooch for me?
[14:56:12] <Bytram> and troubled to hear you are tired.
[14:56:22] <janrinok> I used to seek now owners for my old PCs - but haven't got much time for that nowadays. (Smooch passed on!)
[14:56:32] <Bytram> lol
[14:57:07] <janrinok> I'm also receiving medical treatment but there is no easy answer.
[14:57:12] <Bytram> I had two Cceleron 400 MHz desktops
[14:57:20] <Bytram> OY!
[14:57:44] <janrinok> 3 minutes and I must start preparing dinner
[14:57:58] <Bytram> remember the basics: food and sleep and... kisses!
[14:58:21] <Bytram> hope you feel better soon!
[14:58:36] <janrinok> yep, it's hard to find a job for celerons that old. You could buy a new Pi from the money you saved by now powering them up.
[14:58:47] <Bytram> yeah, I needs to be getting ready to head out the door myself.
[14:58:54] <janrinok> have a good one
[14:59:03] <Bytram> my thoughts exactly!
[14:59:13] <Bytram> mare sea!
[14:59:17] <janrinok> subbed some stories while S was out this morning!
[14:59:30] <Bytram> Oh, how's things with weather>
[14:59:49] * Bytram recalls some big storm heading through France?
[15:00:14] <janrinok> storm has stopped, minor damage through rain penetration. No roofing specialists available for 'little jobs' like mine.
[15:00:32] <Bytram> nod nod
[15:00:56] <Bytram> Good Luck!
[15:01:13] <Bytram> really gtg; laters!
[15:01:16] <janrinok> I think we have 5 dead and numerous homeless - worst hit are the NW and the SE of France, we live in the former but we cannot complain when compared to many others.
[15:01:34] <janrinok> laters
[15:01:36] <Bytram> thanks for the details!
[15:02:20] <Bytram> I sw you pushed out a story, thank you very much! And... looks like you fired up Arthur and subbed some stories, too.
