[09:10:00] <Bytram> and that's the 3rd one.
[09:10:07] <Bytram> time to head back to bed.
[09:21:47] <janrinok> Bytram, just missed you!
[09:23:19] <Bytram> janrinok: !!
[09:25:18] <janrinok> Bytram !!!
[09:25:28] <Bytram> how ya be?
[09:26:00] <janrinok> I thought you had returned to your bed..... I'm good. PiL arrive later today so got things to do but nothing that should stress me
[09:26:14] <Bytram> stress-- is a good thing
[09:26:14] <Bender> karma - stress: -2
[09:26:28] <Bytram> umm, I meant NO stress is a good thing!
[09:26:50] <janrinok> I guessed you meant that, but presumably you have been emulating cmn's typing skills
[09:27:11] <Bytram> I try and learn from the masters!
[09:27:16] <janrinok> lol
[09:27:41] <Bytram> and, though it took a while, came to understand your reluctance to run political stories on the site.
[09:28:08] <janrinok> experience can only be gained by, well, experience
[09:28:39] <Bytram> Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from poor judgment.
[09:29:06] <Bytram> Why does it seem I have to learn everything the *hard* way? ;)
[09:29:25] <janrinok> I've never heard anyone being converted by discussions about politics or religion, so any story is almost guaranteed to generate polarised arguments with no expectation of any positive outcome
[09:30:27] <janrinok> They are good to do between friends over a beer maybe, but not on a site where people can take any stance without any sense of responsibility.
[09:31:02] <janrinok> anyway, how is your vacation going?
[09:31:35] <Bytram> Much truth to that, but OTOH, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. --Benjamin Desrali(sp?)"
[09:31:46] <Bytram> Is good to be aware of what "the other side" is up to.
[09:31:54] <Bytram> going well...
[09:32:02] <Bytram> caught up on a bunch of things.
[09:32:05] <janrinok> are you fully rested now?
[09:32:08] <Bytram> went out to dinner a few times.
[09:32:11] <Bytram> hell no.
[09:32:29] <janrinok> lol - I shouldn't have expected anything different from what I would do....
[09:33:04] <Bytram> I woke a couple hours before sunrise, that's usual as I rarely sleep more than 4-5 hours in a row.
[09:33:17] <Bytram> Usually I'm up for an hour or so, and then go back to sleep.
[09:33:20] <janrinok> but now you can doze during the day
[09:33:37] <Bytram> when I noticed the story queue had run dry, I muscled up the energy to push out a couple stories.
[09:33:41] <Bytram> naps++
[09:33:41] <Bender> karma - naps: 7
[09:34:00] <janrinok> I find that I wake up between 0500 and 0600, then have a siesta early afternoon. Works for me.
[09:34:13] <Bytram> One time I laid down for a nap at 1630... and woke up an hour before midnight!
[09:34:31] <janrinok> that will have ruined your sleeping patterns!
[09:34:38] <Bytram> Oh, would that be nice to have that be the norm!
[09:34:46] <Bytram> correct!
[09:34:57] <Bytram> just a bit.
[09:35:21] <janrinok> That's one of the bonuses of being retired. I can, for the most part, manage my time to suit my needs.
[09:37:41] <Bytram> "retired" -- that's when after being exhausted, you get up and do it again?
[09:37:58] <janrinok> something like that :)
[09:38:49] <Bytram> how's S and the remodeling?
[09:40:18] <janrinok> Inside the house is completed. Had a lot of decoration to do after the restructuring, but got it done with hours to spare. Outside is taking a pause for 6 weeks while land settles before finishing off.
[09:40:29] <Bytram> nod nod
[09:40:45] <janrinok> S didn't need remodeling
[09:41:02] <janrinok> ... but I did it anyway
[09:41:20] <janrinok> she is now a 23 year old blond
[09:41:20] <Bytram> decorations... like hanging some mistletoe at every doorway? =)
[09:41:29] <Bytram> !grab janrinok
[09:41:29] <Bender> Added quote 80
[09:41:53] <janrinok> long time since I have seen 'grab' being used
[09:41:55] <Bytram> and she, making the obvious response, did the same to you?
[09:42:05] <Bytram> ;)
[09:42:16] <janrinok> Yep, bonus! I'm 26 with a body like Adonis.
[09:42:40] <janrinok> Unfortunately, she kept my same face
[09:43:28] * Bytram looks more like the 98-pound weakling that Charles Atlas would kick sand in his face.
[09:43:31] * janrinok accepts that he now looks even more ridiculous than before
[09:43:53] * Bytram is actually closer to 66 kg
[09:44:11] <janrinok> I think the version of Adonis she chose from me was when he was ill with the plague or something...
[09:44:20] <Bytram> correction: 62 kg
[09:44:22] <janrinok> for me*
[09:44:43] <Bytram> forgot to get your vaccine?
[09:45:54] <janrinok> Unfortunately, I've got to go and prepare lunch for us, but I should be back on here later. There were no vaccines in those days, they just prayed to some God or other and applied foul smelling 'treatments'
[09:46:48] <janrinok> biab, cul8r
[09:48:30] <Bytram> ciao for now.
[10:14:13] <Bytram> and... that's another story in the hopper for someone to take a look at.
[10:14:27] <Bytram> and, with that, is really time for me to take my leave.
