[00:23:01] <mrpg> I thought I had the flu, the doctor said it was a virus. I had fever. I'm ok now.
[00:23:19] <mrpg> I only took paracetamol.
[00:23:33] <mrpg> I should do some blood tests.

[01:15:23] <mrpg> I'm back.
[01:15:46] <mrpg> Let's see artificial meteor shower.
[01:16:25] <yuhong> Should I repost my submission?
[01:17:16] <Bytram> yuhong: I don't recall what your original submission was about. :(

[01:17:49] <Bytram> oh, now I remember.
[01:18:04] <yuhong> It was rejected with a blank reason field.
[01:19:11] <yuhong> Should I repost it?
[01:19:16] <Bytram> I appreciate your sending in the story submission, but we generally do not accept links to a person's *own* blog entry. It appears to the community as a self-serving ploy on the part of the submitter and is generally treated harshlyy in the comments.
[01:19:57] <yuhong> Do you at least understand the topic of the essay/overview.
[01:20:43] <Bytram> So, as much as the entry may have merit, it comes off as a self-seeking ploy and is *highly* disapproved of by the community.
[01:21:31] <Bytram> also known as 'bin spam' or a "Soylvertisement' (which is, in turn, a variation on the original term Slashvertisement... this goes back decades.)
[01:22:32] <Bytram> you might want to take a look at the structure and formatting of several days' stories on the site to get a better feel for what is acceptable here.

[01:25:26] <mrpg> I think I saw a story about this japanese firm that wants to make meteor showers on demand.
