[17:57:01] <janrinok> hi guys - just thought I would say hello
[17:58:09] <janrinok> cmn32480, the brown cow is fine thanks, how is the black dog? This sounds like the soundtrack of a French comedy about the WW2 resistance...
[17:58:59] <janrinok> Bytram, I'm aiming for the big 4000 if possible before I have the next hospital stay
[17:59:33] <cmn32480> doing good
[17:59:41] <cmn32480> I can almost ride tohe pooch to work at this point
[18:01:34] <janrinok> even better when you can ride it home too
[18:01:34] <cmn32480> ~gday janrinok
[18:01:37] * exec unwittingly cyberbullies a buttcrack of disagreement at janrinok
[18:01:41] <janrinok> ~gday cmn32480
[18:01:43] * exec furiously merges an armpit of humility with cmn32480
[18:01:55] <janrinok> how's J and the family?
[18:02:45] <cmn32480> they are doing pretty well
[18:02:51] <cmn32480> all things considered
[18:03:10] <janrinok> are you still travelling excessively?
[18:03:18] <cmn32480> of course
[18:04:01] <cmn32480> was in Canada last week
[18:04:06] <cmn32480> Northcarolina next week
[18:04:14] <cmn32480> back to Canadia in 2 weeks
[18:04:23] <cmn32480> maybe Germany by the end of the summer
[18:04:42] <janrinok> well, send them my best wishes pse. I visit S tomorrow - I'm in the second week of a 2 week respite break but it is filled with appts so not as restful as I had hoped it would be
[18:04:54] <cmn32480> oh
[18:05:09] <cmn32480> please give her a big hug and wet sloppy kiss for me
[18:05:16] <janrinok> S returns home on Friday afternoon
[18:05:20] <janrinok> will do!
[18:05:22] <cmn32480> and a wet sloppy lick from the Pooch
[18:05:41] <janrinok> she was asking about you guys a few days back...
[18:06:12] <janrinok> described you all as the 'guys with the funny names' or something similar
[18:06:16] <cmn32480> hoping we had disappeared no doubt
[18:06:38] <janrinok> no, she is beginning to realise that good luck never happens to her
[18:07:51] <cmn32480> well good
[18:07:58] <cmn32480> tell her I said PBTPBPTBTPBTPB~
[18:08:25] <cmn32480> adn why, praytell was she asking about us?
[18:08:32] <cmn32480> wishing us harm?
[18:08:38] <janrinok> I will but I might misspell it
[18:08:49] <cmn32480> wondering if us crazy Americans had blown ourselves up yet?
[18:09:18] <janrinok> no, she has had quite a few laughs provided by you all, so she doesn't mind when I spend some time on the computer
[18:09:33] <cmn32480> so the price of your online freedom is us making her laugh?
[18:09:50] <janrinok> something like that
[18:10:00] <cmn32480> fair enough
[18:10:13] <cmn32480> we shall strive to keep you free, good sir
[18:11:36] <cmn32480> how have you beeen?
[18:11:44] <janrinok> if you ever travel to NW France don't you dare do so without letting us know
[18:11:47] <cmn32480> and most importantly, did the surgery work?
[18:13:05] <janrinok> I'm getting old I think - trivial medical problems (when experienced by other people) are major problems for me, or more correctly for the surgeons
[18:14:45] <janrinok> the throat surgery was a major success, almost immediate resolved the problem. However, other problems have come to light which need further attention. But I feel OK so it is not too much of a burden at present. There is a potential for some 'ooh-nasty' outcomes but we are keeping our fingers crossed.
[18:15:31] <cmn32480> other issues...
[18:15:34] <cmn32480> oh dear
[18:15:51] <cmn32480> probably got that bad teeth thing like all your countrymen
[18:16:43] <janrinok> no, worst case (if we discount being dead) might mean that I am unable to take care of S but that is we hope a very unlikely outcome.
