[12:58:06] <Bytram> in general, we try to avoid cases where an editor accepts and pushes out their own submission... unless there are extenuating circumstances such as a breaking story or sub queue is (effectively) empty AND story queue is empty AND no other editors are around

[12:59:21] <Bytram> even then, the community generally suggests they would prefer fewer stories to pushing out junky stories to meet a schedule of x stories per day.
