[19:29:56] <nick> can't complain, been a busy week with work projects and i had to take a trip to the immigration office
[19:30:19] <nick> my biggest gripe is last night i was cold... it got down to 40F.
[19:31:31] <nick> got rather used to the 60-80F, 40 felt so damn cold i had to close the bedroom windows and put on more clothes to sleep

[19:45:36] <nick> they're on the road until this time next year, but they've got a couple months off over xmas-new year

[19:47:06] <nick> they're definitely not doing the hard road schedule of 6-10 days of shows in a row before one or two days off

[19:52:00] <nick> don't think it's because they're old, i think it's because they're Metallica... they don't have to, better to do less dates and keep people hungry, sell tickets for a higher price

[20:19:50] <nick> but like 15 years ago i'd go to a small show for £12 and a bigger show for £25
