[21:39:39] <Deucalion> Subsentient, housekeeping essentially. A bunch of oddities came to light when I was doing the ircd and services upgrades as it involved a fine tooth comb trawl of the configs as there were options deprecated / new ones added etc. Off the back of that and given that there were all kinds of legacy staff accounts lying around unused for anything up to 3 years a bit of a purge of permissions was done. So basically anyone with staff perms who
[21:39:39] <Deucalion> was no longer around or had not really been contributing anything staff-wise in recent memory got perms stripped. The logic being, it was an apt time to do it as I was rejigging all the perms and groups anyway plus purging unused permissions is good security practice (principle of least privilege). By all means, if you're wanting to come and help out editing then all changes are reversible of course :)
