[16:47:26] <LaminatorX> It's the ongoing struggle between the competing need to restore my soul, body, and bank account. Really, if the day were 30 hours long instead of 24, life would work out much better.

[16:48:58] <nick> finding the balance seems increasingly difficult
[16:52:26] <nick> with winter well on the way, it's only going to get worse soul wise; the idea of daylight will become little more than a myth.
[16:54:31] <Blackmoore> i'm thinking of installing lights in the house that are closer to daylight than incandesent just to see if that helps
[16:55:02] <Blackmoore> I had one of the desk lights but the wife absconded with it.

[17:04:28] <Blackmoore> yeah. I'm planning to increase my exercise as well. I may not like the gym, but i have to do it.
[17:07:57] <nick> i liked it when work kept me fit as well as earning, i'd like to get back to that. not a fan of the gyms i can afford to join.
[17:08:46] <nick> although maybe would be able to afford it, if i stopped drinking and smoking. heh.

[18:45:34] <Blackmoore> the gym i have is $10/month. but it's equipment only - no real help. no classes.

[18:54:52] <nick> The ones i would prefer to frequent are more like $70/month+ and do not make their prices public.

[19:31:48] <nick> i was going to join one thats open 24/7, figuring when im being an insomniac i could go.
[19:36:19] <Blackmoore> well, the place i go is closed at 9pm on Fri, then reopens in the AM. and I think they stay open till that next friday.
[19:36:44] <Blackmoore> so it isnt full 24x7 but it's at least 24x5
[19:37:12] <Blackmoore> and who the hell wants to work fri night anyways
[19:46:31] <nick> depends who you are, days are almost meaningless for me
[19:47:08] <nick> only difference is on sunday i have lunch with the family, and i'm much more limited in stores that are open.
