[20:43:11] <n1> and may consider my first attempt at cooking quail eggs today, or tomorrow seeing as im not really with it today
[20:43:47] <janrinok> They're nice but I eat too many of them rather than being polite and genteel.
[20:44:34] <n1> i wouldn't normally but it's a weekly lidl special so i thought i'd grab some
[20:44:55] <n1> lidl is great at having awesome things for one week, never to be seen again.
[20:47:00] <n1> i'm pleased duck seems to be gaining popularity - even if it's still relatively expensive, it's more available
[20:48:47] <janrinok> I like trying new things, something that my wife started back in the days before MS. We have eaten all sorts of things. But when people come for a meal, they always eat well.
[20:50:42] <n1> it is good to try new things, i'm not that adventurous but i do keep an eye out for new things
[20:52:12] <janrinok> We used to have a regular challenge. Open the cupboard door and challenge the other to a meal for two in 45 minutes or whatever. That, and Ready,Steady,Cook improved my cooking skills enormously

[20:52:51] <n1> thats one thing i hate about cooking, for all the time i spend cooking and cleaning up... i spend 10 minutes actually eating.
