[18:59:54] <holeinone> Well, I was looking at the code of SN , at its all a bit´much´. So I was wondering if we have some kind of wishlist / ticket system / wiki page in which we share ideas on what to update / fix in the code. If we do then I could take a look at those ideas and their description and find the matching code. That would give me a starting place to get myself aquinted with what we have.
[19:01:35] <janrinok> Yeah at first glance it can be a bit much. We have a bug list on the git repo, and we only tend to modify 3 of the Perl modules as they are site specific as opposed to general supporting software.

[19:06:07] <janrinok> I had to keep going back to it over a period of time and some of it (but not much) began to stick. But fixing the code isn't my job although I do help in finding bugs and the subsequent testing of any fixes.

[19:08:06] <janrinok> That is the only documentation that we have at the moment other than the sysops notes which are in the wiki/techwiki but, as you know, have not been updated to reflect reality.
[19:08:58] <janrinok> Once we get full control of the site we can all get together and start trying to update the wikis.
[19:09:23] <janrinok> currently, several people cannot get to the servers that they want to access.
[19:10:21] <janrinok> It appears to be a problem with access control but nobody is prepared to try to fix that problem (which is NOT a simple one) until we have control again.
[19:11:07] <janrinok> What do you want to see for the Board? I can look for it over the next few days (time permitting of course)
[19:16:15] <janrinok> I am assured by far better programmers than I am (which isn't difficult) that the software is actually quite logical and straightforward once you manage to grok it!
